vegan adventure:

shoreditch &the city

tours

New for 2018, we're just finishing up on designing this tour.

We're going to visit six food stops to try some imaginative, tasty, unusual vegan dishes and a cocktail to boot.

As with all our tours, we share loads of stories about the history of the area as we go. The sort of stuff that'll make you say 'well I never knew that!'

£69pp (includes all the food and drink.)

Numbers

We keep these tour groups small so we can give you lots of love and attention (and food). We cap the groups at 12 people.

We offer these as private tours too. Just get in touch for a quote.

Logistics

We meet near Old Street station and finish by Spitalfields Market, near Liverpool Street station.

Best to wear comfy shoes and always dress for the weather.

A taste of the tour

We're nearly finished on designing this tour. We think it'll look a little something like this.

01

Start with the prettiest avocado toast you ever did see, from a menu created in collaboration with raw food pioneer and food educator Matthew Kenney. All served in gorgeous Skandi surroundings.

02

Visit a teeny restaurant that sits in a shipping container. These guys have taken the humble doner kebab and veganafied (and in our opinion, greatly improved) it. We give those a whirl then take a look around the market.

03

Head to a restaurant in the middle of Banglatown, the first curry house on Brick Lane to offer a vegan menu. We have the Shahi Sahakari (The Vegan King), a thali-style platter of uribeeshi biran, bombay allo, begun daal, chappati and rice.

04

Try tofish and chips - a vegan twist on a British classic - it's battered tofu with nori, chunky chips, peas and tartar sauce.  All served in a hidden away cafe in the heart of Shoreditch.

05

Pop into a restaurant that's tucked away in Jack The Ripper territory. There we have ourselves a cocktail - the lime leaf infused gin, coconut cream and sherbet is a real crowd-pleaser.

06

Finish up with a sweet, seasonal, picture-perfect, sourdough doughnut, eaten in the historic surroundings of Old Spitalfields Market. Once we're done, the market is well worth exploring.
